Preston Alterations and Additions

We find that a good approach to upgrading inner city houses is to maintain the integrity of the existing building, remove any lean to buildings that are not original, and then build discrete buildings that improve the liveability of the site and engage with the outdoors.  In this case the existing brick veneer building had some good internal features. Nice hardwood floors, wall and ceiling details that added charm to the existing rooms and generally spaces that were of good proportions for easy living. New living spaces now increase the ability for a family to engage with choice. A new bathroom just makes life better. These buildings are as much about the internal workings, as the engagement with the site.
