Jan Juc House Upgrade
This existing house in Jan Juc on a sloping site, is located in a way that opened the whole façade up to the street, reducing privacy and minimizing the usable open space. A new secure screened entry and stair was designed within the existing verandah space. These new semi indoor and outdoor spaces are suitable for family activities that previously didn't exist.
Minor modifications were also made to the interior of the building, and a general finishes upgrade then completed the works ensuring the longevity and liveability of the house.
By retaining and redefining the existing building the life of this building has been extended, which is a highly sustainable outcome.
